About Sinead Murray

I am research Fellow at the National University of Ireland, Galway, supported by Enterprise Ireland. My team and I are looking for unmet clinical needs in the area of ophthalmology, in particular Dry Eye Disease. Our aim is to innovate within this space with a view to addressing these needs and improving patient outcomes. I have worked as a Chief II pharmacist in St Vincent’s Private Hospital for over 10 years. During this time I worked in all areas of clinical pharmacy with a special interest in research and innovation. I recently completed a post graduate diploma in Strategy and Innovation with the IMI (UCC) and apply the skills I heave learned in my day to day management position. I am a member of the board at the Incorporated Orthopaedic Hospital Clontarf. This position has allowed me to share my knowledge and skills whilst gaining valuable experience as a board member in these challenging times.
