Background
About Siovhan Shanks
My name is Siovhan "Shiv" Shanks I am a full time writer/ stand-up comedian. I have spent most of my Sault life paying the bills as a server bartender. I started in food and beverage at the age of 19 as a host at Applebee's Bar & Grill. My first love is writing. I attended Benedict College for a bachelors in mass communication. I began performing stand up comedy at 26 as a way to express my creative side. I have performed in multiple states as well as all over NYC. As far as writing goes, i write all my own jokes. I have an online tiktok persona that coincides with my brand of comedy. I've been invited to comedy writing rooms to help other comics with their materials.
