Sawubona! The name is Sithabile, a dynamic and analytical Junior Business Analyst with nearly three years of experience in the custom software development industry. My journey in tech began as a response to unemployment post graduating with my Bachelor of Arts degree(I'm a proud Humanities girl). I was drawn to the fast-growing and dynamic tech industry for its potential to drive positive change, remote work and ability to challenge one to problem-solve. Oh, and also because I found it has a lot of introverts like myself. My programming foundation, refined through self-study, a coding bootcamp, and hands-on development experience, has instilled in me a robust problem-solving aptitude and a knack for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. I possess a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and have successfully managed teams across multiple projects, delivering key goals on time and within budget. My expertise includes gathering business requirements, creating comprehensive documentation, and designing user-friendly wireframes that enhance stakeholder understanding and project approval rates. Now more focused on Business Analysis and Project Management, with technical skills in data analysis, visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, I bring a unique blend of technical understanding and business acumen to drive effective solutions that align with defined requirements. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a champion for education and equal opportunities for Black girls and women in tech. I am passionate about challenging norms, making myself proud, and serving as a visible representation of black women in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
