She currently leads the Information Security Governance function at AIA, one of the largest life insurance companies in Asia-Pacific. Sithara specializes in establishing and enhancing security controls, policies, standards, and frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. She also manages IT risk assessments, audits, and incident response, Security awareness, client and third - party/ vendor / partner supply chain security risk management. and oversees the security aspects of IT service delivery, asset management, identity, and access management, change management, and cloud security. Sithara holds multiple certifications, including CISM, CDPP, CDPSE, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ITIL V3, and MCSE. She is passionate about Security Governance, Risk and Compliance, cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy, and strives to foster a security-aware culture and drive continuous improvement in security governance across the organization.
