About Sithembile Ngobese

In 2001 I joined Lovelife as a Radio Producer working closely with the SABC AL Stations, producing HIV prevention and educational content for them. In 2007 an opportunity to join Metrorail presented itself and I joined the parastatal as Communication Specialist and Spokesperson leading the implementation of the Soweto Business Express. In 2006 I joined Siemens as the Spokesperson and Media Relations Manager, and later promoted to head up Government Relations for the Africa Cluster. One of my first momentous projects in my new role was working on the Siemens participation in the United Nations Climate Change Conference ( COP17). We managed to lobby National government to position Siemens as the thought leader for the entire conference. In 2011 I was promoted to Executive Head Corporate Affairs for Siemens. In 2013 I joined Tiger brands as Public Policy and Government Relations Advisor and led the formation of the Department of Agriculture and Tiger brands first ever MOU which focused on Small Holder Farmers off take agreement. In 2017 I was appointed as Project Director for the North West Township and Village retail economy project.
