About Siu Ming Luie

As an experienced higher education leader, I have contributed to student and organizational success in colleges and universities in the U.S: from community colleges to selective universities. I started my career in academia in entry-level positions and worked my way to succeed in mid-senior leadership roles- In student affairs, I created, built, and continuously improved academic advising and student support and managed a $1.5M budget- In academic affairs, I led and grew a $45M graduate portfolio- In external affairs, I established and maintained college partnerships that helped increase enrollment by 35%- In teaching, I help prepare exceptional education leaders. I have dedicated my career to provide better service and experiences for students by creating sustainable systems for faculty and staff. These systems cannot exist without faculty and administrator champions, so I have initiated collaborations to realize this strategy.Together, we increased college access; improved student satisfaction, retention and graduation; hired more qualified faculty; increased enrollment and revenue to improve teaching and learning.I am an advocate for lifelong learning.
