I'm passionate about solving the correct problems, and one of my biggest strengths is keeping calm and thinking clearly under pressure. I highly respect those who do their best with all their skills to complete a task. I'm an engineering leader with solid software engineering and leadership experience. I'm currently leading an engineering tribe consisting of multiple cross-functional agile engineering teams. In alliance with fellow leaders representing product, delivery and design, I set the vision and implement strategies to deliver the mobile and web product and services in alignment with the organisation's goals. I have substantial expertise in designing and delivering on-premise and cloud-based application and infrastructure architecture solutions. I have delivered many complex projects on both on-premise and cloud platforms, resulting in outcomes like high efficiency in the call centre, zero downtime deployment for highly utilised critical hosted applications and a high-performing identity platform. I champion bringing the best out of the engineers by enabling them to follow best practices. I create an environment where engineers can experiment with their ideas and learn from their experiences. I enjoy guiding and mentoring my team members to progress in their careers with the appropriate feedback and recognition. I enable the teams to make the right technical decisions that align with the technical and product roadmaps. In addition, I help the teams in solution design and provide technical guidance. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to get the best outcome. I maintain a good vendor relationship with the Cloud platform providers and delivery partners to get the best value for the organisation.
