Background

About Sivan Lapidus

Steering the helm at Absa Design Office, my strategic marketing insight and leadership in user experience have been pivotal in delivering innovative digital banking solutions. We saw the successful launch of ChatWallet, enhancing financial inclusion and marking a milestone in Absa's ESG initiatives. The steadfast focus on customer value propositions has been a cornerstone in expanding our digital user base, now engaging over 3 million customers. With a personal commitment to fostering intrapreneurship, I have empowered our team to pioneer market-leading features such as biometric authentication, now securing transactions for a vast customer segment. Partnering with cross-functional teams, we've also introduced PayShap, revolutionizing rapid payments in South Africa. My dedication extends beyond project deliverables; it lies in mentoring emerging design talent, ensuring a legacy of innovation and design excellence within Absa and the industry as a whole.
