About Siwar Badreddine

I am an applied mathematician with a strong focus on developing and enhancing algorithms for quantum chemistry. Currently, I work at Qubit Pharmaceuticals as a Research Scientist in Quantum Technologies. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Sorbonne University's Laboratory of Theoretical Chemistry, where I was introduced to quantum computing for quantum chemistry, with a particular focus on quantum emulators. I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Inria Paris/Sorbonne University. My research centered on low-rank tensor decomposition techniques to address complex high-dimensional problems in quantum chemistry. Before pursuing my Ph.D, I obtained a Master’s degree in Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation from ENSTA ParisTech. My main research interests include Tensor and Matrix algorithms, Algorithmic complexity, Numerical linear algebra, Numerical analysis, Parallel computing, Quantum algorithms, Quantum emulators and Quantum chemistry.
