About Sky Coleman

Hello! My name is Sky Coleman and I am a full-time psychology major at Loyola Marymount University. I am an incoming senior with a working background with children. As of right now, I'm working as a Behavioral Technician with Inspira Health. There I work with clients who experience challenges with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition to my work as a behavioral technician, I volunteer my time as a wellness educator at my university. In this position, I work under post-doctorate supervisors who aid in shaping my skills in effective communication and public speaking. These skills prove to be applicable outside of the mental health advocacy sector and manifested in my seasonal role as a student tour guide that aids in providing elementary students from underserved communities with opportunities to see themselves in higher education. As I continue to further my career in the mental health field, I am striving to share my growth with those who are also aspiring to build a career in psychology. This summer I will begin my mentorship with high school students to aid in my growing knowledge of what it can look like to formulate a professional career.
