About Skye Bennett

I’m a portfolio careerist and independent consultant, speaker, facilitator, and board director. I support purpose-led organisations to navigate change, build inclusive systems, and do work that genuinely serves their communities. My background spans 20 years across public-purpose, not-for-profit, arts and culture, and higher education. I bring a human-centred, values-driven approach to complex work, with experience designing programs, shaping systems, and guiding organisations through periods of transition and reform.I’m drawn to work that sits at the intersection of strategy, people, and impact. This has included leading Victorian government reforms and transition initiatives, advancing education assessment and policy change, overseeing workforce and resourcing programs, and providing strategic advice to senior executives during the COVID-19 response. My work has been recognised with the Research Society Public Policy and Social Impact Award, the South Australian Governor’s Multicultural Award, and multiple higher education sector awards. Known for my thought leadership in inclusion and belonging, introverted leadership, and community building, I foster spaces of reflection and growth that enable communities to thrive, strengthen collaboration, and achieve lasting social impact.
