Bozho Gizhgokwé ndezhnëkas bodwéwademi ottawa ndaw, my name is Skye Howell of the Potawatomi and Ottawa Tribal Nations. As an organizational analyst, I have over 20 years of collaboration across organizations within the social impact sector to align vision, mission, and daily practices through an anti-racist approach that centers Indigenous practices. Through my years of experience in contract procurement and fundraising, I coach teams in grant writing and developing a fundraising strategy that leverages your strengths and develops sustainability. Uplifting the power of storytelling through art, music, literature, and personal reflection, I strive to curate spaces of healing and restoration where everyone can show up in their Full Humanity. My joy comes from spending time with my family, enjoying nature, and writing. I am honored to serve my community as the Interim Executive Director for Great Promise for American Indians. My son inspires me to make the invisible - visible and to take action wherever possible to sustain the generations to come.
