About Skyla B.

Leadership and initiative through community involvement over the years have been integral to my personal and professional development. I have pursued various initiatives including more recently, the sole planning and initiation of a non-profit community vendor and craft market event in support of a local children's charity, The Snowsuit Fund; volunteering as a certified Child Restraint Technician with Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada and for SEATS for Kids; taking the lead in organizing the annual community park clean-up in my neighborhood, rallying volunteers, and fostering a sense of pride and ownership in our shared spaces and the environment; and contributing to the coordination and planning of a charitable gala supporting Dress for Success, leveraging my event planning skills and passion for philanthropy to make a meaningful impact in my community.
