About Skyla Rumley

With a B.S. in Psychology and double minors in Health & Wellness and Sociology, I’m passionate about understanding human behavior and applying research-backed strategies to promote health and well-being. I’m now pursuing my Master of Arts in Health and Wellness Coaching at Notre Dame of Maryland University, School of Integrative Health (formerly MUIH), working toward NBHWC certification and a long-term career as a health psychologist. My academic foundation, combined with hands-on experience in behavioral science and motivational interviewing (MI), equips me to contribute meaningfully in both research and coaching settings. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate, Dean’s List honoree, and member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society, I’ve consistently demonstrated academic excellence while balancing diverse professional experiences. My prior leadership role as Director of Operations at Casita & Co. strengthened my skills in project management, research, and communication—including authoring a published article on organization and well-being. I’m passionate about helping people cultivate healthier lives through evidence-based principles.
