Background

About Skyler Mirosovsky

I was raised on a family farm near Rosetown Saskatchewan and that was the beginning to my mechanical abilities. After working as an agricultural technician for close to a year after high school. I was ready to challenge myself, being mechanically inclined is one thing but learning the specifics of how machines and processes operated was always something I truly enjoyed doing. With that I started my pursuit to become a power engineer where the whole idea of the job was to understand everything about a process and how to manipulate it. I worked at Husky Energy for the summer of 2019 as an operator. After completing my diploma in the spring of 2020 I resigned to my home town to work again as an agricultural technician. As COVID-19 was at full swing leaving an impact on all industries. Jobs as Power Engineers were hard to come by especially for a newly graduate. In the spring of 2021 I finally got the opportunity to work as an operator with Virtex Farm Foods Ltd. Where I am currently working as the Chief Engineer and Refinery Supervisor
