Dynamic professional with 7 years’ experience in higher education, psychotherapy, counseling and social work. Proficient in individual and group therapy while providing trauma-informed care. Currently offering brief treatment (psychotherapy services) to students at Thomas Jefferson University's East Falls Campus. Proficient in the use of motivational interviewing, somatic techniques and relational/psychodynamic therapy. Prior experience working directly with college students with engagement, case management and resource access. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania where I concentrated in clinical social work. I have focused, specifically, on grief counseling with children and adults. I use an eclectic approach in my work with individuals and groups-with a strong emphasis on the use of relational psychotherapy, somatic and motivational interviewing techniques.
