About Smaranda Dochia

With over 20 years of international experience, I have a professional background in both not-for-profit and corporate environments, covering Human Resources, Event Management, and Project Management with a focus on restructuring, organizational design, and strategy building. While my corporate and HR work is a foundation offering great insight "behind the scenes", coaching is where the magic happens. I believe that coaching is unique to other disciplines as it uses creativity to allow a client to see beyond the issue at hand, gain perspective, and access all available resources in order to achieve their most ambitious goals. Besides my coaching qualifications, I am a certified practitioner in Applied Neuroscience, which is a valuable tool to get an insight into our great capacity as human beings to change, adapt and grow. I work with the Association for Coaching (AC) as Director of Digital Learning & Podcasts. I feel honoured to be able to help Coaches develop and make a difference to individuals, businesses, and society through a variety of Digital Learning programs. At the AC, we are about excellence and mastery, making a contribution, and having an impact by being pioneering, driving a community spirit, and taking a coach approach! The Digital Learning programs that we run offer coaches across the world access to thought leadership, new coaching tools, and business-building skills, providing opportunities for continuous professional development. Our vision is to inspire and grow an international professional community of coaches, leader coaches & and mentors, coach supervisors, and organizations building coaching cultures. As a Career Transition Coach, I am committed to helping ambitious professionals who are currently feeling stuck, overwhelmed or frustrated to change their perspective and turn things in their favour so that they can realize their full potential and make everyday matter.
