I am a dynamic professional with over 17 years of extensive multi-cultural and multi-geography experience in Sustainable Agriculture, Horticulture, Soil and Water, Livelihoods, and Rural Development. Gained success in spearheading multiple projects on Climate Resilient Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Women Empowerment, Livelihoods, and Climate Change Adaptation. Experienced in working in international development organizations like the World Bank and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), research institutions like the University of Florida and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, and Non-Government Organizations such as Watershed Organization Trust, Action for Food Production and The Energy and Resources Institute. Experienced in capacity building of community and government officials; developing reports and proposals; preparing training manuals, modules, and IEC materials; and coordinating with project stakeholders including the Central & State Governments, community, and international organizations such as the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), IDH, and LWR. Published various scientific articles and presented in multiple Public & Scientific Fora. Also experienced in working in both plain as well as hilly (North East India) topography.
