Smita is an enthusiastic pharmaceutical management student at the Institute of Health Management, Jaipur, awarded the Late Shri P. D. Agarwal Scholarship from IIHMR University, Jaipur. She was shortlisted as one of the top 5 teams in a national case study competition held by D2C, showcasing her excellent academic background. Smita's experience includes an internship at Impact Guru, Mumbai, as a Business Development Intern, where she handled strategic alliances with non-hospital partners such as pharmaceutical companies and medical device providers. Her proactive approach and market research skills enabled her to successfully partner with Artelus, GenOmbio, and Niramai, starting from scratch and securing MoUs. She also spent 6 months at Covance as a Safety Science Analyst, working on the JnJ vaccine project released in the US on March 1, 2021. In this role, she was responsible for pharmacovigilance of the Janssen and Janssen COVID-19 vaccine, managing the intake of serious and non-serious adverse drug events and reactions. Smita is a passionate leader who excels at working smart and hard. She is self-motivated, confident, and culturally diverse. She has previous experience as an HR Intern at Techsnap and as a Sales and Marketing Intern at IFORTIS.
