About Smita Menon

Like most others, my journey into the product management field was largely unplanned and unintentional. However, over the years, it has been an immensely enriching experience requiring me to apply different skillsets at various stages as an individual contributor, team manager, and a leadership executive. These deep experiences at diverse companies with unique business models, ranging from nonprofit and founder-led VC/PE backed growth-mode companies to multi billion dollar Fortune 50 companies, have given me a 360 degree view into all aspects of a business, enabling me to strategically decision what levers can be adjusted to achieve specific business outcomes. I very much perceive product management as an art and myself as a life-long student of the art with a mission to democratize my learnings and apply it at an organizational level while paving the way to make it a more intentional and defined career path for those interested. Always believing in "the art of the possible".
