About Smita Patel

Smita is a management consultant with a background in biotechnology who has supported a number of companies with their market entry strategies into both India and the UK. She aims to be a trusted advisor particularly to start-up founders and has a keen sense of building effective marketing and communications campaigns. Smita brings deep emotional intelligence and a global perspective to client service aided by her experience living on three continents and speaking multiple languages including fluent Swahili Hindi Gujarati and English. She has worked for a number of charity clients with a local and international focus. She was featured on the BBC for her role as a founding team member of Europe's first due diligence platform connecting donors and charities CharityClarity.org.uk. She created the annual platform "bioConclave" to facilitate and accelerate life sciences and healthcare collaborations between India and the UK. She is involved in the Secretariat for the think tank Bridge India helping with its Europe-wide expansion.
