About Smith Agarwal

I am a data enthusiast with over 4 years of experience in a number of data management systems and software, including Excel, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle E-Business Suite and OBIEE. Data analysis and data-driven optimization are the rhythm of the drumbeat I march to. Previously, I worked as a Consultant in PwC where my role included turnkey implementations, upgrading, and maintenance of Oracle e-business suite for its clients. Later on, I joined Experian as an Oracle Technical Consultant involved in the design, development, and maintenance of Experian's Oracle HR application. After getting familiar with the intricacies of the transactional data storage systems, I took an internal transfer to the Business Intelligence team in Experian to become familiar with the concepts of data warehousing and how it plays an important role in analytical processing through historical data. Currently, I am pursuing my masters in Data Engineering and Analytics at Technical University of Munich. I aim to learn and excel in the areas of machine learning, natural language processing, artificial intelligence and information retrieval during my studies.
