Background
About Smith Gajjar
Senior Software Engineer focused on building scalable platforms and applying generative AI in production. At Codecademy, I’ve worked across enterprise applications, platform architecture, and the Gamut design system. Previously, as a founding engineer at Tekie, I scaled the platform from early prototype to adoption in schools and 500k+ students, designing its GraphQL BaaS, infrastructure, and backend systems to support real-time learning experiences.I have 4+ years of experience delivering full-stack solutions end-to-end, developing proof-of-concepts that evolve into impactful capabilities from designing reliable infrastructure to integrating AI features that improve learning outcomes and platform performance.
