About Snigdha Deka

An Assistant Professor of English with a passion for literature since childhood. This love kindled in me the desire to delve deep into this field. Thus, after having completed my higher secondary school from the Science stream, I decided to take the road less taken. Thus, I began my academic journey in English literature and recently completed my PhD. In my journey in academia, I am often engaged in research work that has been published in esteemed journals and conferences. Beyond the rigours of academia, I find solace and inspiration in creative writing. Whether crafting compelling narratives or exploring the nuances of language through poetry or short stories and blog posts, I thrive on weaving tales of the known and the lesser known. In my role as an educator, I aspire to instill in my students not only a profound appreciation for literature but also critical thinking skills that extend beyond the confines of the classroom. Through my profession and hobbies, I aim to foster an environment of intellectual curiosity and open discourse in the next generation of thinkers and creators.
