About Snigdha Tiwari

I am a Masters student at Carnegie Mellon University. I am majoring in Software Engineering - Scalable Systems. My primary area of research lies in the field of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, although I am still trying to look into various other fields which have applications in the Biomedical or Cognitive Neurological field. I have a good hold of programming in Python, C, C++ with OOP. Apart from programming, I have a good hold of Web Development with Reactjs Framework, Firebase, etc, which I have done various corporate internships on. I have been working on multiple research projects at my undergrad college (BITS Pilani). This has helped me to apply my knowledge in multiple scenarios and for multiple purposes. During my research internship which aims to develop a curriculum that teaches CS students about accessibility and lets them design according to the needs of various communities, our team's poster named "Inclusive Thinking Questionnaire: Preliminary Results" has been accepted in SIGCSE TS 2022. I am also working on another project named “Biomedical Signal Analysis for Opportunistic Probing of Emotion self-report collection” in which we are trying to develop a state-of-the-art machine learning model based on the variation in physiological signals to identify the suitable probing moments.
