About Sofia Abreu

I am a communication and training professional with over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry. I´m passionate about connecting people, creating value and making a positive impact in the world. At IATA Brasil, I am responsible for- Leading internal and external communication, aligned to the objectives and global vision of the organization. I develop and implement communication strategies to promote IATA vision, products and services, and to engage with key stakeholders in the aviation sector- Managing IATA Training in the country, being responsible for promoting more than 400 training products and services, through different learning methods, to shape and qualify professionals for the challenges of the aviation industry- Driving DE & I initiatives of the association in Brasil, fostering a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization and the aviation community. I coordinate and support DE & I projects and events, such as webinars and workshops, to raise awareness and empower underrepresented groups in the industry.
