About Sofia Aziz

You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give". My career can be very simply defined as a series of firsts. The first to launch Malaysia's first local 24 hour news channel with Astro, the first regional CSR initiative encompassing a junior golf programme for CIMB and most recently, Malaysia's first converged product with MaxisONE Prime. I have a significantly varied company portfolio throughout my 14 years of experience, those I have worked for include Malaysia Airlines, ASTRO, CIMB and Maxis. A result of this is a vast understanding and exposure in marketing, advertising, branding, media (both digital and traditional), events and project management in the biggest industries. A committed and passionate marketeer, I thrive working outside my comfort zone, from driving one of the biggest Hotlink acquisition campaigns to then launching strategic Maxis converged initiatives in 2017. My track record of being tasked with the biggest launches and portfolios is a testament to the pride I have in my work, ensuring that projects are carried out on time and with the results to show. I look forward to embracing future opportunities, to be in an environment which encourages and cultivates new ideas in which the key driver would be a vision leading towards making the world a better place for everyone.
