About Sofia Baezzato

As a multipotentialite, I have no “one true calling” the way specialists do. Multipotentialites thrive on learning, exploring, and mastering new skills. We are excellent at bringing disparate ideas together in creative ways. This makes us incredible innovators and problem solvers. When it comes to new interests that emerge, our insatiable curiosity leads us to absorb everything we can get our hands on. As a result, we pick up new skills fast and tend to be a wealth of information. In 2015, I published my first book, a comprehensive exploration of aerodynamics, reflecting my commitment to inspiring and mentoring the next generation. Between 2019 and 2024, I've worked as a freelancer, wearing multiple hats as a videomaker, motion designer, and project manager. As a project manager, I had the privilege of nurturing young talents in innovative projects, leading two teams to achieve outstanding results. During this time, I also dedicated myself to the "Crunchy Bytes" podcast for two years, where I served as the cohost, producer, and editor. On the podcast, we delved into topics related to innovation, business, and personal growth, aiming to share valuable insights and inspire our listeners. In January 2023, I began teaching myself how to code. I started with CS fundamentals and low-level languages like C before delving into frontend development. Exactly one year later, I secured a job as a software developer, achieving my goal. Currently, I'm immersing myself in backend development, learning Java, Spring and Spring Boot. I'm documenting my coding journey through a podcast called "Wannabe Dev," aiming to inspire others to switch careers and land tech jobs. I've also devoured thirty-plus books in the last year and channelled my creativity into crafting handmade leather goods in my free time. What's more, my self-taught knowledge in cutting-edge areas like blockchain, cryptocurrencies, Web 3.0, and the token economy reflects my passion for innovation and emerging technologies. In four words, I'm a serial learner.
