About Sofia Baldi

I was born and raised in a charming town in Tuscany, just 10 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea. Though I wasn’t sure what my future held during my high school years, I was resolute in my pursuit to find a meaningful path—wherever it might lead. At 17, I won the national athletics championship in pole vaulting. Although I excelled in the sport, it wasn’t the direction I wanted to take. At 22, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, achieving a solid grade. I enjoyed the subject and performed well, but my true passion lay elsewhere. I thrive on new challenges and love stepping outside my comfort zone. This drive led me to pursue a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing, a decision that has proven to be one of my best. I’ve always been captivated by marketing, especially within the critical and evolving sectors of healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Today, I am proud to work as an International Account Executive in a field where I can combine my scientific background with my marketing expertise. I live by the philosophy:"If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door." I’m excited to continue opening new doors and embracing fresh opportunities in the ever-evolving pharmaceutical and marketing landscapes.
