About Sofia Bari

I study International Affairs and International Business at The George Washington University, concentrating on Global Commerce, Ethics, and Justice. I bring a unique perspective shaped by resilience, adaptability, and a deep commitment to social and economic equity. My professional experience spans nonprofit leadership, legal policy research, venture capital analysis, and strategic communications. As Co-Founder and Deputy Director of Beyond the Ballot, I lead national-level initiatives focused on empowering working-class youth through local political engagement and progressive policy development. I have also contributed to organizations across sectors, including the National Association for Law Placement and Energy Innovation Capital, where I supported research, operations, and stakeholder outreach. I am particularly interested in the intersection of corporate strategy, international policy, and law. My goal is to begin my career in consulting or a global corporate role and ultimately transition into the field of international law. I seek opportunities that challenge me to think critically, act decisively, and contribute meaningfully to systems-level change on both domestic and international scales.
