20 years of experience in Grant and Project/Programme Management field. I have in fact worked and specialized in all phases of development and emergency projects from conception to actual management, monitoring, reporting until evaluation/audit. The projects I have worked on have involved very different kinds of donors and sectors, including commercial contracts. Donors: EU, ECHO, UN, MAECI (Italian Gov funds), DFID/FCDO, DEC, START, ECW, USAID, USA and UK Foundations, Corporate, Major Donors. Portfolio: East and West Africa, Asia, Middle East, South America, Ukraine Emergency Response Long term deployed to Guatemala, Kenya, Sierra Leone My best sectors include: Human Rights, Education, Gender equality and Diversity & Inclusion. Average of budget managed (per year): Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) practitioner with 13+ years’ experience in development and post-conflict contexts, including Asia Pacific, South America, West Africa, East Africa and Middle East Regions. Effectively provided technical support for strategic planning, assessment, and tool development, and integrated intersectional D&I perspectives into organisational development management frameworks, policies, and programming and a demonstrated history of delivering large, complex projects. Creation of D&I team, relative ToR and activities plan in order to disrupt organizational unconstitutional bias and stereotypes in favor of staff wellbeing and cultural change. I opened and closed Country Offices based on sustainability reports handing over to implementing/local partners where applicable, decentralizing/localizing all the main activities (Structure, processes, HR capacity building). I went through 3 changes of Strategies in 3 International NGOS and I have always been invited to participate, to co-create, to lead some strategic groups and to engage with staff and then working on actions plan implementation. In order to obtain the ECHO FPA I was asked to be the focal point as per my recognised expertise on this particular donor and I worked across the organization on proposing changes on the structure, policies and procedures and on training for all the Managers and the staff. I have created new tools, new trainings and new ways of working after big changes in the organisation.
