About Sofia Chand

After spending the first half of my career fulfilling HR and Strategy roles in various industries, I embraced the challenge to start my own Adtech business, learned throughout the business journey, and enjoyed discovering the breadth of my capabilities. Raising the first million dollars for our Startup, grooming a highly passionate team, building a fast-growing user base, all happened as part of this journey. For the last 8 years, I have mastered the Product Management role by managing the product life cycle, building product strategy, working with stakeholders, delivering high-quality products, and securing initial market validation. Throughout my work experience, I have been exposed to various aspects of a business and my passion to learn has gotten me well acquainted with every aspect of a product from concept to implementation. I am a voracious learner and so have learned and worked on - Project Management Software (JIRA, ClickUp, Slack, Asana, and Trello)- Front End Development (HTML, CSS, JS)- Testing (Nightwatch, Selenium)- Cloud (GCP, AWS)- Frameworks (Ionic, Ghost, WordPress, React-Native)- Software (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Sketch, Figma)- Digital Marketing and Analytics (Google Analytics, SEO, SMM, SEM, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Blogs, Hubspot). I am an award-winning Assessor with DQA, Dubai Smart Industry Awards, UAE Innovation Award, and SKEA - Business Excellence awards in the Middle East. It has added significant value to my ability to analyze multiple business functions within very short periods of time. I am excited to connect with fellow co-founders, product experts, technology enthusiasts, and champions in Product, UI/UX, Innovation, and Technology.
