About Sofia Coen

Hello, my name is Sofia Coen, and I am an innovator, leader, and change-maker. I am also an alum of the University of Southern California. As a Nicaraguan native, my journey has been anything but ordinary. From advocating for dismantling oppressive systems during the 2018 civil movement in my country to captaining the Nicaragua Women's National Soccer Team, my life experiences have shaped my unique, global perspective. With the understanding that being at the intersection of various industries can lead to inventive ideas, I am deeply passionate about working at these crossroads. Since my political exile from Nicaragua, this passion has manifested through undertaking projects ranging from emerging technologies to economics to art. My education, leadership, and experiences have equipped me to tackle a wide range of challenges and thrive in high-pressure environments, always prioritizing ingenuity and collaboration. My experience and skills will lead to success in any industry, driving meaningful and impactful change.
