About Sofia Cummo

Hello! My name is Sofia Cummo and I am a Senior at Syosset High School. Soccer has always played a major roll in my life. I always loved the feeling of being a team member, while also motivating others around me. As team captain, I encouraged my team and made sure all team members were satisfied. I consider my soccer career to be a major reason behind my leadership abilities, as well as being able to work well with others. I am eager to continue developing my leadership skills and hope to bring these abilities with me in the future I consider myself to be a motivated and selfless person. Raising money for non-profit organizations such as Sunrise Day Camp, APEC and more allowed me to assist many necessary causes. I creatively kept my donations going by becoming a counselor at Sunrise Day Camp and helping children with cancer and their siblings have the absolutely best summer possible.
