About Sofia de Rosso

Innovation, science, technology: words that we are used to hear on a daily basis, the prerogative today is to keep them connected. In the European landscape it is increasingly important taking ideas from the lab to the market, so that a central goal for programs like Horizon 2020 is to remove barriers to technological improvement and to make it easier for the public and private sectors to work together in delivering innovation. I believe that multidisciplinary interaction, within the public health sector, has become the basis for planning winning projects and strategies that enable countries to achieve knowledge-based social development. I think that communication plays a crucial role in this process, especially when we are talking about food choices!I am graduated in Biology and Nutritional Epidemiology; I find myself really passionate about finding new dissemination tools that could be used for primary prevention and discovering new ways to tackle issues like obesity in children, through promoting healthy eating habits that can turn into healthy consumer choices.
