My professional background primarily involves marketing, social media, and hospitality. I am seeking a career in business ownership/management, events, or social media management/marketing. I am the External Marketing Director for the Gatormicrobiome Club, which is a student organization at the University of Florida that centers on educating the student body on gut health and the microbiome, where I am in charge of communicating and networking with relevant faculty and organizations, acquiring and incorporating student feedback, directing club events, and meeting and event advertisement on social media. I am also the Public Relations Director for @ThePattyCake Foundation, where I also get in touch with faculty and organizations, generate further awareness about the foundation and voice opportunities for student involvement, and manage the social media. Recently, I took up a position as social media manager and photographer for three different nightclubs (The Lab, Lit, and Bricks) in downtown Gainesville, where I would go to events and work as the photographer, later posting the pictures on the relevant websites and social media platforms. As social media manager, I posted on a consistent basis to market the events and sent mass DMs. My main hospitality experience relates to food service. I am a certified food handler, and I have experience in food serving, preparation, and safety. Additionally, I owned a small food business that operated in farmers' markets, which I managed in terms of ingredient sourcing, product development, finances, sales, and customer service. The main skills I have gained through these experiences are providing optimal customer service and creating positive and memorable guest interactions, maintaining food safety, and remaining efficient and productive in a fast-paced, highly pressured environment. As an aerial yoga instructor with Elevate Yoga. I obtained a 55-hour Aerial Yoga Instructor certification, I developed my own sequences, and I led adult classes and kids' classes while being a teacher assistant and instructor for aerial yoga several summer camps. Another area of my professional background is in the fashion industry. I have taken courses in fashion styling as well as done my own research and learning about the science of fashion, the fashion industry, and fashion styling. I am part of the UF Mode club's design team and have styled models for the Thrift Gala event. I interned for RoosterGNN, a fashion and beauty news agency. In this position, I generated fashion/beauty content for social media.
