About Sofia Fraile

I am an undergraduate Behavioral Neuroscience student at the Honors College at Florida International University. I am also pursuing a second major in Psychology and a minor in Statistics, in order to further challenge myself and foster an interdisciplinary approach to my education. I currently work as a Learning Assistant for the Introduction to Behavioral Neuroscience course as well as a Vocero Student Leader for Project VOCES, both of which allow me to pursue improvements in STEM educational systems specific to my chosen discipline. I am also working as a Research Assistant on various projects, with experience in behavioral and neuroimaging data collection and analysis under the Memory and Development Lab within the Center of Children and Families. My academic studies along with my work and research experiences ultimately contribute toward preparing me to pursue a graduate program in Cognitive Neuroscience, as I aim to attain further insight and experience by contributing to research focusing on learning and memory throughout development.
