About Sofia Grigoropoulou

I am a MSc Graduated Student in Chemistry on Section of Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry & Natural Products, with a particular focus on Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, deepened while I was doing my experimental thesis at the University of Patras, but also postgraduate, doing my Master degree in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology. My strong points are enthusiasm and versatility. I like to take on new challenges without pulling back and exploring new realities, unknown to me, abandoning my comfort zone. I have a propensity to work in a team and I like to share my ideas as solutions to the problems that have to be faced every day during our job. I would describe myself as a very determined and highly motivated person. I do take my job seriously but I’m able to see things in perspective and believe I’m quite easy-going to work with. I’m an optimist rather than a pessimist – but I’m also a realist and I cope well when the going gets tough; I’m very good at finding solutions to problems. Above all, I would say I’m a positive and enthusiastic person.
