About Sofia Hagman Buhlin

Starting back in 2011 when I began working in the Swedish Parliamentary Offices as a Political Assistant to an MP in the Foreign Affairs Committee. About a year and half later I got promoted to Political Advisor on issues of Migration and International Development Cooperation. Roughly a year after that I got recruited to the Ministry for Foreign affairs as a political advisor to the minister for International Development Cooperation, a position I held until the election in 2014. After the election I returned to the Parliamentary Offices, this time in opposition, to project manage a new agenda for the party’s migration policy. After this I decided to get a new experience, away from the political arena – and went on to Intrum, the world's largest Credit Service Management company and took on the role as PR and Media Relations Director for the group. Challenging work in the midst of one the largest transactions in Sweden during 2017 I gained loads of experience and quickly established knowledge of the business sector. As of February 2018, I work as a Senior Consultant at Fogel & Partners an advisory boutique focused on strategic communications in special situations and transactions. Here I specialise in issue management, transaction communications, media relations and public affairs.
