I am a researcher specializing in neuroplasticity and its application in improving rehabilitation and coping strategies for individuals facing serious illness. Committed to advancing patient-centered care, my work bridges scientific research, policy development, and community engagement to promote equitable and compassionate healthcare systems. As a youth palliative care volunteer, I also saw the urgent need to involve more young people in addressing Canada’s healthcare workforce shortage and inequities in care delivery.
