About Sofia Leite

Hi to all, After more than a decade working as a Props Master in the Film Industry, I decided to change my life, say goodbye to all the great people I met during all these years and move forward with a different style of life. So, since December 2021, I'm working as a Project Manager @weedoo full of proud for this amazing team. In the latest years I studied Film, Video and Multimedia Communication, Communication, Information Sciences and Public Relations and also The Business of the Visual art world. Professionally, my experience has been quite diverse. I had a good experience as a Producer at Fractured Lines and at Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising - - as a volunteer, doing some work at the front desk and also some research for them. I always loved personal communication. In Portugal I worked in the Production and art department. My last jobs there were as props master in the advertising/commercial world. I also worked as an assistant at festivals Doc Lisboa, Lisbon and Estoril Film Fest and Indie Film Fest, I lived in Rome for two months (October to December 2012) to learn the Italian language ( I also speak portuguese – native – english and Spanish ) and I worked in nearly 100 film projects. In a different area, I worked for a year selling D2D (door to door) Meo and Artelecom. That experience gave me amazing communication skills. After selling D2D and producing cinema projects I think I'm able to work in any area related with communication. From my characteristics and features, I can primarily highlight my personal taste, and also the responsibility, commitment, experience and my entire availability without any limit of time.
