About Sofia Lopez

Hello! My name is Sofia Lopez. A visual designer that enjoys creating simple, but impactful designs accessible to all. Less is more type of thing, you know? Growing up I was always fascinated by art & fiction. It was when I grew older, I began to realize I was interested in so many creative paths that I decided to major in architectural studies since I perceived it as quite a versatile design degree. Upon graduating, I decided to take a year and a summer off to live life a little slower while figuring out what design path I wanted to journey into which is when I discovered user experience! I looked into many programs, signed up for a certificate course and began my journey into ux! In terms of my personal life, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a homebody. My free time consists of improving my drawing capabilities, immersed in my pc or cocooned on my bed reading some sort of fictional story. Why transition into UX? I guess the idea of working alongside others to solve a problem in a creative manner with the intention of providing a meaningful experience for users seemed…fulfilling.
