About Sofia Mane

For the last 6 years (since 2019), I have been working as a member of the Quality Assurance Department at S.O.E.L. which is under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Committee (EPE). The department reports to HAASOB (ELTE). The scope of the quality assurance review includes: a) The evaluation of the design of the internal quality control system (ISQC1). b) The evaluation of the audit work on statutory audits (separate and consolidated financial statements) for non public interest entities (non PIEs) in accordance with the applicable standards on auditing and current legislation. c) The evaluation of the adequacy of measures and procedures adopted by the statutory auditors and the audit firms regarding the prevention and suppression of the legalization of proceeds of crime and terrorist financing, according to the provisions of the current legislation. Before 2019 (2015-2018), the Quality Assurance Department, which I belong to, conducted reviews on behalf of S.O.E.L only, which included statutory audits' reviews (non PIEs) and ISQC1 evaluation. From November 2012 and until the end of 2014, I was member of the Quality Assurance Team of HAASOB (ELTE) and our scope of quality assurance reviews included public interest entities (PIEs) in the field of statutory audits' reviews as well.
