About Sofia Mangia

Hello! I am a pre-med with a B.S. in Biology who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University. Born in Miami to Colombian and Italian parents, I bring a multicultural perspective to my passion for medicine and a deep commitment to making a positive impact in healthcare. My academic journey in the biological sciences and working experiences in scribing, teaching children and undergraduates, and tech have further fueled my desire to pursue a career as a physician. I am deeply committed to understanding and addressing the needs of diverse patient populations, with an emphasis on compassionate care and total-wellness (mental and physical health). As I continue my pre-medical journey, I am eager to further develop my skills in research and healthcare as to continue working toward the goal of becoming a dedicated physician and researcher who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
