About Sofia Medin

My current position is Head of Materials Management at Candela Technology, a fast-paced scale-up on a mission to enable fossil fuel-free lakes and oceans through hydrofoil and electric boats. As a leader, I believe in being present for my team - offering support and challenging them to continuously grow in their roles. I’m passionate about continuous improvement and building effective processes, with a strong focus on data analytics and strategy. When I’m not at work, I prefer to stay active. In 2022, I completed the Swedish Classic (Vasaloppet, Vätternrundan, Vansbrosimningen, and Lidingöloppet), ran my first marathon in 2023, and recently finished my second marathon. I also enjoy being creative, whether it’s painting, crocheting, or spending quality time doing fun activities with friends and family I do enjoy meeting new people so if you would like to share a cup coffee with me, let me know.
