About Sofia Nicolau

I am a new grad with experience in customer service, management, graphic design, leadership, and research. I'm a super fast and adaptable learner, and like to think of myself as a jack-of-all-trades type. I pick up skills incredibly quickly, and would be adept at any role that comes my way. I am currently working as a Floor Manager at Allbirds, where I get to use my leadership experience as well as my attention to detail, communication, and problem solving skills to thrive in the role. I also have experience with C++, Python, and some Java that I would be open to putting to use, as I took many computing classes under my Psychology major. I love writing in any capacity, and would be over the moon to incorporate it into my career - right now all I can do with it is write superb emails. During my time at UCLA, I also worked on the board of two very different clubs with missions that I loved; one was the Ballet Company at UCLA, and the other is UCLA HART. I had positions of social media management/publicity on both. On a less professional note, I am an avid lover of the outdoors, traveler, climber, puzzler, reader, and overall consumer of knowledge. I don't say no to opportunities that come my way, and can find excitement and purpose in just about anything.
