About Sofia Ong

Compassionate mental health professional with over 8 years of experience, or 10 years including volunteer and internship work, supporting diverse youth populations including foster youth and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California and am completing my M.S. in Positive Psychology at Arizona State University. In Fall 2025, I will begin my Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, neurodiversity, and culturally responsive support. I am especially passionate about helping youth and families from underserved communities access compassionate, high-quality services. My goal is to become a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in autism and trauma, with a focus on assessment and diagnosis across the lifespan. I welcome opportunities to connect with others who are committed to building more inclusive and equitable mental health.
