About Sofia Quintero

I’m a rising senior studying Applied Data Analytics at Syracuse University, with minors in Architecture and Music Industry. I’m working toward a career in the music and concert industry and chose my major not only for my love of math and science, but because of the importance of data in this field—such as using fan insights and consumer behavior to help shape a festival’s potential lineup. I study Architecture out of genuine interest; the classes served as a creative outlet for me that challenged me to think structurally and abstractly. Paired with my Music Industry minor, where I’m building the foundational skills for a future in music, this interdisciplinary path has shaped the way I approach projects. I am able to combine analytical thinking and creative problem-solving, especially in places where artistry and innovation intersect. In my free time, I’m most likely at a concert. Since 2015, I’ve attended over 60 concerts and festivals, seeing artists across a wide range of genres and popularity. Live music holds a special place in my heart, and I’m passionate about preserving its culture so generations of fans can continue to experience the joys of seeing their favorite artists live.
