About Sofia Silvestri

As a rising Senior at the USC Thornton School of Music, I’m studying Songwriting, Music Production, and the Music Industry, developing my skills as a producer and artist under the mentorship of industry legends like Patrice Rushen and Mark Batson. Alongside my creative pursuits, I’ve gained hands-on experience in music marketing through roles at Sony Music as an on-campus representative and at Big Loud Rock as a Digital Marketing Strategy Intern (my current position). These roles have sharpened my understanding of branding, audience engagement, and digital strategy within the music space. As a content creator and independent artist, I’ve built a cross-platform following of over 100k and accumulated 800k+ Spotify streams. I’m passionate about using music as a tool for impact and look forward to shaping a more supportive, equitable industry for creatives while pursuing a career in music production, songwriting, and supervision for film and TV.
