Sofia Vega is a Colombian composer and arranger specializing in blending Western classical music with South American folk traditions. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Composition with a minor in Music Business at the University of North Texas, Sofia focuses on composing for a variety of projects, including film, TV shows, and live performances. Her work has been performed by the UNT Concert Orchestra and Jazz Strings Lab, showcasing her versatility and creativity in music arrangement. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Sofia is also skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Dorico, enabling her to handle the technical aspects of music and video editing successfully. Sofia helps filmmakers, artists, and performers by creating compositions that enhance the emotional impact of their work, bringing stories to life through music. Drawing inspiration from her cultural background and diverse musical influences, Sofia strives to create unforgettable music that resonates with audiences and elevates visual storytelling.
